Father, help me on the days when chaos reigns in the classroom. Give me a peaceful heart. Amen

Discipline

Father, show me how to discipline without derailing my students' self-esteem. Amen

Overlooked

Father, help me to reach out daily to those students who are overlooked, overwhelmed, and overcome with cares. They need me most. Amen

Difficult Classroom

Lord, I seek Your direction in difficult classroom situations. Help me to apply that guidance and find resolution. Amen

Harsh Words

Forgive me, Lord, for harsh and hasty words. Protect little hearts from my sharpness and impatience. Amen

Work of my hands...

O, God, bless the work of my hands. May I make a difference in the life of every young person who comes through the doors of my classroom. Amen

Goal

Help me to reach for the goal of training young minds to think and learn independently. Amen.

Special-needs

Its a challenge, Father, to work with the special-needs children. Help me to do my best for them. Amen

Wisdom

Lord, grant me wisdom, strength, and sensitivity to be the teacher You would want me to be. Amen

Planting Seeds

Father, may I never tire of planting seeds of learning in my students' minds that may someday produce abundant growth and a crop of wisdom and knowledge. Amen

Enthusiasm

Dear Lord God, give me a contagious desire for learning, and may I transmit that enthusiasm to my pupils. Amen

Light

Help me to keep such a cheerful outlook on life that it shows in my countenance. Make me a ray of sunshine to students who are starved for light. Amen

Fail

When I fail, Lord, teach me to turn over my paper and begin again. Help me to teach my young scholars the same approach. Amen

Precious

Father, when I wonder if what I do is worth anything, remind me how precious each of my students is to You and of what an impact a single day can have in their education. Amen

Consciousness

Teach me, Lord, to bring to everyone all that I am and all that I do as a consciousness of You. May I be known as a Christian first and a teacher second. Amen

comfort

When one of my students is hurting, Lord, show me how to comfort without interfering.

Truth

Lord, teach me how to speak the truth to students and their parents with grace, in a way that does not offend but instead brings needed change. Amen
